Electaoencephalographic examinations were performed on 24 cases of typical or atypical Menière's disease using of various activation methods. Abnormal EEGS were formed in 10 cases, among which 6 showed seizure discharges such as spikes and the remaining other 4 showed only slowing.
In most of the cases with abnormal EEGS, attacks decreased by continuous administration of anticonvulsant drugs.
The relationship between these abnormal EEGS, clinical features, and effect of snticonvulsant drugs was discussed.
