抄録
This paper presents an outline of two lectures given at the Kansai branch of the Society for Quality Control entitled “ Efforts towards Quality Assurance and Human Resource Development.” The first lecture describes general ideas about important approach to keep proper quality from suppliers and the skills required to do so. It also provides general and specific methods how to improve those skills and the system to ensure procurement quality and improvement activities. The second lecture describes a concrete example of such improvement activities. It shows an initiative to develop inexpensive, general-purpose DX technology in-house and deploys that technology to suppliers. And also help suppliers develop human resources who can utilize it in the “Genba”.
