For increasing citizen participation, it is very important to give more chance for citizen to have attachment to the own town. Therefore, we carried out a workshop to junior high school students for having them know the town and rediscover the attractiveness. The workshop was held in Matsuno Town, Ehime Prefecture. In the workshop, we had the participants experience town management by giving lectures on city planning and activity of wandering about the town and proposing a sightseeing course for strangers. As a result, junior high school students answered that they could discover and reaffirmed the attractiveness of the town. For increasing citizen participation, it is found important to walk around the town to face the current condition, get a point of view for the appearance of the town and have attachment to the one’s own town.
