A Study of a Method to Combine Automatically with Polygons Devided by Surrounding Frameworks in Geographic Information System Data for Urban Planning

Abstract

This report is about the research on a method to combine automatically with figures divided by surrounding frameworks. The spatial data used by urban planning GIS has many figures which are fixed per surrounding frameworks. Since such figures which intersect with neat line of surrounding frameworks are divided in many cases, there are not few problems at the time of use of analysis or display etc.To this end, First, the former methods and problems about figures divided by surrounding frameworks were surveyed the Tokyo Urban planning GIS as an example. Next, the outline about development of the algorithm and tool about automatic integration. Last, the examples of processing with the developed tool were shown.
