Abstract

This paper presents a support system for measurement of 3D shape of relics. During operation of the shape measurement using 3D scanner, the user needs to monitor the data distribution and their precision in each data set so as to determine the next target area to be scanned and the angle of the scanner. Proposed system visualise the insufficient data area and estimates proper angle for measuring it. Some experimental results show the effectiveness of our approach.
