The purpose of this study is to reveal a cooling performance of a water spraying cooling system using Photo-Catalytic coated nylon sheet. We had done a measurement on thermal environment during Dec. to Nov. '03 using two insulated boxes which has Photo-Catalytic coated plastic sheet at the roof, the one roof was sprayed and the other was not. The result shows that outer surface temperature of the roof were dropped about 8 to 10℃ and interior air temperature was also dropped about 4 to 6℃ as a result of water spraying. According to a thermal energy analysis, coefficient of mass transfer on a nylon surface was about 0.002 to 0.009 kgl(m2・s・(kg/kg')).
