The various windows have been proposed and developed in order to realize both solar shading and natural light utilization. However, the method which verifies those thermal performances in office building is not established. This report shows the simplified method for measuring solar shading performance with the measurement box. Through the experiment of various glasses and window systems, it was shown that the measurement box was able to measure a solar shading performance with comparatively high accuracy while being a very simple measurement using actual solar radiation.
