In this study, cross ventilation efficiency for the detached house was evaluated by the multi zone network airflow simulation and the CFD. This study was analyzed about the relationship between a shelter performance of the detached house and CVDHIT and cooling load. The results are as follows: (1) As insulation performance becomes higher, CVDHIT and the cooling load reduction rate is higher, the annual cooling load is lower, and ventilation performance is higher. (2) CVDHIT and the annual cooling load is lower by blocking direct solar radiation on the window. (3) CVDHIT and the annual cooling load is lower by the eaves on the window.
