We reported a case of xeoderma pigmentosum (XP) group A, who was followed up about 10 years. The patient had been using special glasses, to protect against UV radiation, since she was 9 years old. Even though, she developed, at age 13, multiple malignant tumors involiving the ocular region.
This case reveals the difficulties to prevent and treat the frequent ocular complication of XP patients. Finally, literature concerning the similar cases was reviewed.
