1302 Quality Improvement by Review using Quality Accounting System : Study of Software Quality Accounting System(1)

Abstract

Software Quality Accounting System is a software quality management technique originated by NEC Corporation. Among the Quality Accounting System techniques, Upper-process Quality Accounting System and its Defects Prediction techniques are described in this paper. By applying the Quality Accounting System, its effects that the number of defects detected by review was increased and the number of defects after release reduced, are discussed. And the reasons of successful results are considered.
