The civil engineering field has not yet developed a load capacity equation for the failure of member joints, and the design of member joints is not based on performance verification. On the other hand, in the field of architecture, a formula for calculating the bearing capacity of member joints has been proposed. Therefore, in this study, we focused on L-shaped joint parts and made some modifications to the existing macro model. The results of the calculations were compared with those of previous experiments to evaluate the modified macro model. As a result, it was confirmed that the calculated values were within ±20% of the experimental values for the L-shaped specimens, which were judged to be of the joint failure type and the joint failure type after bending yielding.
