無機酸類の腐敗菌、チフス菌及びコレラ菌に對する殺菌作用

抄録

The present communication deals with the sterilising action of mineral acids on Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus pyogenes aureus, Bac typhosus, and Vibrio cholerae. The results are summarized as follows:-
(1) Sterilising action of strong mineral acids, HNO₈, HCI, H₂S0₄, and H₃PO₄, is determined by pH values of each solution, and has no relation with the kind of the acids.
(2) Anions of the four strong mineral acids have no sterilising action
(3) Sterilising action of chromic acid, HCNO, and osmic acid is mostly due to the action of acid molecules themselves.
(4) Sterilising action of boric acid is chiefly due to pH values, but its degree is very slight.
