About 100 specimens of red salmons, which were landed at Kasiwabara, were taken daily from June 4 to August 11, 1939, and were classified according to sex, body-length and body-weight. Percentage frequencies of each length-weight class were averaged for 4 successive periods, into which the whole period mentioned above was divided, and were compared with the corresponding percentage frequencies averaged for whole period. The results of χ-square tests show that statistically significant differences are exist in the composition of the shoals, among different periods.
