1. Three slight cases and a severe case of Leiner's disease with hematological findings are presented.
2. Anemia and hypohemoglobinemia were seen in all 4 cases.
3. In 3 slight cases leucocytosis resulting from lymphocytosis was seen, while leucocytosis due to neutrophilia occurred in the severe case.
4. Nuclei of neutrophiles shifted to the left in high degree, and even myelocytes and metamyelocytes were seen in all the 4 cases.
5. Eosinophiles increased in 2 of the 3 cases of rather slight affection, and in the remaining one severe case eosinophiles disappeared in the early stage and showed an increase when the changes of the skin began to improve.
6. Thrombocytosis and prolongation of short timed peroxidase reaction were seen in 2 cases examined.
7. All the 4 cases were in early infancy, and were fed on completely Arakawa-negative milk, which is a noteworthy thing suggesting that the disease has something to do with a certain avitaminosis, though there will be no direct relation.
