The content of coenzyme A in the liver of rats was determined by the method of Kaplan and Lipmann. The content of coenzyme A in the liver of rats to which desoxypyridoxine and hydroxymethylpyrimidine were administered with vitamin B_6 was markedly less than that of the control ones. The content of coenzyme A in the liver of rats to which desoxypyridoxine and hydroxymethylpyrimidine were administered without vitamin B_6 was less than that of the control ones. However, when isonicotinic acid hydrazide was administered to rats, the content of coenzyme A in the liver was more than that of the control ones both in the vitamin B_6-supplemented group and the deficient group.
