In poisoning with lead acetate in rabbit, visceral riboflavin was found to decrease, and at the first stage of the poisoning conspicuous excretion of riboflavin, especially of FMN, was observed in the urine. The red fluorescent substance found in the urine was proved to be porphyrin.
