The authors examined local histopathological changes which were caused by subcutaneous injection of vitamin E. In the local, the edema of connective tissues and the infiltration which was composed of leucocytes, monocytes, histiocytes and lymphocytes were observed. But this reaction did not belong to the inflammation, but to a foreign-body reaction.
