Influence of the contamination of photodecomposition product of vitamin A, oxidation product of vitamin A, anhydrovitamin A and alkali-decomposition product of vitamin E on vitamin A value was studied by the estimation of vitamin A on mixtures containing vitamin A and these contaminants. It was found that vitamin A value was little affected by the contamination of photodecomposition and oxidation products of vitamin A. It was also found that vitamin A value was a little affected by the contamination of anhydrovitamin A and alkalidecomposition product of vitamin E when their contamination exceeded the limits.
