THE SYNTHSIS OF PYRIDOXINE DERIVATIVES : (II) THE SYNTHESIS OF PYRIDOXINE DISULFIDE AND PYRIDOXAMINE DISULFIDE

Abstract

Pyridoxine disulfide and pyridoxamine disulfide were prepared by the reaction of their thiosulfate with mercaptans. The reaction of sodium hydrogensulfide with pyridoxine and pyridoxamine thiosulfate was also discussed.
