The high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis for the determination of phylloquinone and menaquinone-4 in milk food products was improved with the aid of fluorescence detection after electrical reduction at -1.1 V vs. Pd and redox mode electrochemical detection (at -0.8 V and +0.03 V vs. Pd). It is concluded that this analysis provided method to evaluate the quantitative values by two species of measured values. Also a phyllosemiquinone radical in this mobile phase as intermediate product in the redox process at -0.4 V vs. Ag/AgCl was observed by an electron spin resonance method.
