Abstract
In order to ascertain whether the angular stomatitis was caused by niacin or riboflavin deficiency or not, the curative effects of the administration of niacin, riboflavin, D-araboflavin, 6-methyl-9-β-hydroxyethyl-isoalloxazine, penicillin, etc. were observed on school children who had the deficiency symptoms. No proof was obtained with regard to that angular stomatitis was due to riboflavin or niacin deficiency.
