The suspensions obtained by dispersing barium sulfate granules in methylcellulose and carboxymethylcellulose solutions have high viscosity but there was a slight difference in these suspensions by changes of viscosity due to the concentration of the disperser. The relative equation for their viscosity reported earlier, viz. logηsp=A+B·φ, was examined and the equation was found to agree fairly well.
