Aminoethylation(第2報)meso-cis-Cyclohexenimineおよびその誘導体とDiethyl Malonateとの反応trans-Octahydroindoleの合成

meso-cis-Cyclohexenimine (Ia) or N-benzylsulfonyl-meso-cis-cyclohexenimine (Ib) reacted with sodium ethyl malonate in ethanol or diethyl carbonate to afford 2-oxo-3-ethoxycarbonyl-trans-octahydroindole (IIa) or N-benzylsulfonyl-2-oxo-3-ethoxycarbonyl-trans-octahydroindole (IIa). Reduction of octahydro-2-oxoindole (IV), which was obtained after hydrolysis and decarboxylation of IIa, with LiAlH₄ gave trans-octahydroindole (V).
