We analyzed statistical data on the human resource systems of Japanese companies from the perspective of learning theory. In a highly uncertain society, organizational members are expected to learn autonomously in order for their organizations to survive. On the other side, high learning ability is required in a society with high uncertainty, but we could not confirm any measures to enhance learning ability as claimed by the learning theory. Therefore, we summarized the main points for developing autonomous learners.

As the number of infertility treatment patients increases in line with social changes, such as women entering the workforce and marrying later in life, balancing infertility treatment and work has become a major issue. Most patients undergoing infertility treatment do not want to inform their workplaces that they are undergoing infertility treatment1. Still, because of the impact on working hours of the infertility treatment visits, they are forced to inform their workplaces. In this study, to search for solutions to support women balancing infertility treatment with career continuity, we searched for previous studies that investigated infertility treatment and work. Then we referred to studies and proposed solutions regarding reducing hospital visit time and its impact on work, which impede the balancing of both. We attempted to review the papers. As a result, it was found that there needed to be existing academic papers or books that proposed solutions for reducing treatment time. However, some proposed solutions for psychological problems were found.

The Japanese economy is on the edge of collapse, so revision from a long-term perspective requires. However, in formulating specific economic policies, each ministry and agency prepare its own short-term, medium-term, and long-term economic forecasts for its own purposes. Therefore the numbers could be more consistent. For example, the MHLW presumably estimates the long-term GDP optimistically, expecting a rise in productivity, but the labour input as another factor for GDP determinant should be discussed seriously. For this reason, it may be time to prepare economic forecasts that ensure consistency over the short, medium, and long term, present a total package of economic policies and stimulate public debate.

Short drills were made and tested to enhance the ability to think logically, especially to describe and argue arguments and evidence. We set three types of arguments and clarified the requirements for each category to make sure the relationship was appropriate, then created and tested drills with students. The comments from the students are about the requirements we set, so the students may learn as planned.

In recent years, an increasing number of companies have eased their full-time employees into side jobs. One of the purposes is human resource development. However, how the experience of side jobs links to human resource development has yet to be clarified. In this paper, we conducted interviews with the employees and their supervisors at Company A, which recently lifted its ban on side hustles. The interview analysis was conducted and it suggests that experiential learning is progressing in the process of learning to reevaluate the way they work at their main job through the cross-border experience of side jobs. In the background, the supervisor stimulated the non-monetary motivation of the individual and encouraged reflection.

A questionnaire survey for fellow graduates of the Graduate School of Management, Globis University, at least one year posterior to their graduation, were conducted to investigate the current situation regarding ongoing implementation of the educational principles, developing their careers, and business activities after graduation. Total responses were 1,788. Positive changes such as increased annual income (68%), improved performance and achievements on business (60%), and promotion (50%) were observed. In addition, more than 90% of the total respondents considered that the completion of the MBA brought them better reputation. The NPS as a customer loyalty index was measured, and the result was +42.4. Three items, higher reputation, ideal life, and emotional support through human networks built during the MBA were correlated with the NPS. These results indicated that a lot of respondents believed that the various benefits obtained in the graduate school were considered to have brought them better reputation in addition to personal enrichment.

We investigated the differences in challenges to online teaching between novice and veteran lecturers by conducting interviews. The interviews revealed that the veterans paid attention to attracting the students' attention. They made many modifications to the class design for this purpose. With the reference to the research on the challenges of face-to-face teaching (Yoshizaki, Ohnishi, Sato, et al.), veterans were not overly concerned about grasping the state of students in online classes and actively engaged in communication to shorten the emotional distance, including non-verbal communication such as talking to and gesturing to the students.
