In the lecture on drafting using the textbook and the blackboard, there is limit to how we can
express an object's dimensions because we are representing a real object on a two-dimensional plane.
It presents an obstacle for students in mastering drafting skill. In addition, it is very difficult to fully comprehend objects when we only see the view from an angle which hides a section, even in pictures and photographs which express the object three-dimensionally. Therefore, in this study, through practical application we proposed the improvement of the education technique by helping students acquire stereognostic sense. The first is a method where we supply an actual model for students to directly interact with using their eyes and hands, and subsequently draft. The second is a method where we express the body three-dimensionally by utilizing 3D-CAD. In this way, students can grasp the general dimensions as they virtually touch it, magnifying, reducing and turning. The student's
drafting most progressed in a stereognostic sense when the classic method and the more advanced method were used together.

In recent years, the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) such as helicopters have been attracting.
The attitude control of an autonomous electric helicopter is very important for the assessment of the situation of disaster sites, or deliverer's early detection. The flight state of the electric helicopter assumed that it could approximate by a linear model, and the controlled object was a single-input single-output system. In order to control an electric helicopter autonomously, we adopted the attitude controller by the Kalman filter based on linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG).
The usefulness over the response of this attitude controller was shown by the simulation result.

Students, with good exam results, who can not solve manufacturing problems in smaller cooperative teams, have come to be seen recently. One reason seems to be that they have few experience of manufacturing something with others either at college or at home. So we recently carried out manufacturing contest, competition of quoit by manufactured device. We provided opportunities for development of human resources with problem solving abilities, communication,
discussion, engineering design and presentation rather than processing skills.

Recently, it is well known that ultraviolet rays have an effect on chemical bonding of organic materials including human skin. Therefore, ultraviolet rays have the risk such as skin cancer, cataract, and decline of the immunity, although UV light has been used in workplaces in various industries. From this, high efficiency ultraviolet rays sensor is necessary to detect in the spectral region. In this study, we have grown ZnO polycrystalline films using the mist-CVD technique. The ZnO films were evaluated by x-ray diffraction, surface observation, and photoluminescence. Furthermore, we fabricated ultraviolet optical sensors, which worked as a photoconductive type sensor, and measured their photo-response properties.

Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT) Films were prepared PZT on a titanium substrate as metal electrode by laser ablation using the Nd:YAG laser. After that, We evaluated the quality of the PZT films by X-ray diffraction.
The composition of the deposited films was found to be fairly close to the composition of the target material for a wide range of the substrate temperature, 500-700°C. SrTiO (STO) buffer layer was found to be very effective.

Visible light communication, a new communication technology using visible light, can be differentiated from other communication methods. In this experiment, we examine a high-speed visible light communication system and evaluated it. At first we discuss advantages of visible light communication and the standard about the visible light
communication system.
In addition, we suggest a system and discuss the examination result of each circuit part. Because this system is comprised of microcomputer, the communication procedure are available in modification of computer programs.

Molecular dynamics simulations were performed with two types of defects introduced in SiC nanocrystallites. Tersoff
potential was used to calculate the force applied to the atoms, and antisite defects were introduced. The same number of Si antisite and C antisite were both introduced. As a result, introduction of the two types of antisite defects extended the lattices paramerters although the composition of nano crystallites stayed the same.

We have developed a search system of the class video. The system analyzes the video using automatic speech recognition. This system enables us to search the scene that needed in the video. By configuring the client system as a web application, the system is now available from not only PC but also the mobile terminals. Therefore, the learning efficiency using class video increased. According to result of questionnaire, it is still remained the problem such as the lack of client functionality and search accuracy of the system. However, the result shows that the system is available for learning practical.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the analytical results of the crack growths in concrete members with various covers, space of bars and reinforcement diameters by the reinforcement corrosion. In order to obtain the analytical results of the crack growths, we used the analytical method of Rigid Bodies-Spring Model (RBSM) proposed by Prof. KAWAI.
As a result, it was confirmed that it was possible to recognize the difference in the crack growths with various covers, space of bars and reinforcement diameters.

This paper is a translation and commentary of Everyday life of Weimar in“classical period”, 1750-1850 (original German title Alltag in “klassischen”Weimar, 1750-1850) published by National Forschungs- und Gedankstatten der klassischen deutschen Literature in Weimar.
Everyday life of Weimar in“classical period”is a small work which introduces“The City Weimar”for the general public. In respect of literature and history,“The City Weimar”is highly valued as one of the greatest Cities in the world. It was nominated as a world heritage site in 1996, Consisting of 11 chapters, it conveys not only historical and cultural value which“Goethe's Weimar”has, but everyday life of poor, simple, sometime foolish, ordinary citizens. One of the notable and excellent features of this book is having rather deducted the apparent greatness of Weimar. It describe in detail a real life in Weimar.
As space is limited, only one chapter of the original German text is translated into Japanese. It discusses the actual life related to lineage, social standing, status and occupation.

We prepared an environment that can use the processing machine of the printed circuit board (PCB) which can be used in the design and development of electronic circuits. Often complex hand-wired electronic circuits are subject to mistakes. On the other hand, a PCB is smart and adaptable to complicated circuits. The processing of electronic circuits using a PCB is useful for students, not only to know the role of the integrated circuit in information technology, but also to cultivate a spirit of manufacturing. In this paper, we propose a manual for beginners describing how to operate the processing machine and report the results of development of electronic circuits using our manual in practice.
