Recently artificial recharge has been investigated in many places. And in spite of the troubies which should be settled somehow, such as clogging, it has become practical.
But on the other hand, we fear chemical and thermal pollution spreading into underground strata if we did not control the system properly.
In our first paper the next conclusions are given; (i) Recharge and discharge are approximately reversible, and so up-lift effect followed with injection can be estimated. (ii) Experimental result shows superity of heat regenerating in strata.
In this paper, for the purpose of avoiding thermal pollution, we show the generality of heat analysis. The first from the variation of mass and heat conservation equation, it is derived that non-dimensional underground water temperature (θ ∞ -θ )/ (θ ∞ -θ in) (θ ∞; initial, θin; injecting,θ; underground temperature) is governed by equivalent position (x/a, y/a) to the discharge well (-a,0) and the recharge well (a,0), and equivalent recharge amount tQocp/a2b (c p) e, which consists of distance of wells 2a, depth of stratum b, ratio of water heat capacity to stratum's c p/(cp)e and total recharge amount tQo.

The data curve of step-drawdown test on the logarithmic scale shows a characteristic form according to the aquifer concerned. The curve bends generally at a certain point and is divided into two segments of different gradient. The point is called by the term of transition point and the form of curve of transition form respectively. The transition form may be due to the hydrogeological characters of aquifer and its confining beds. The writer classified the type of form and considered the cause of transition and the meaning of form on a few assumptions.
