【Introduction】 The number of students who experience IPE is increasing, but surveys of the graduates are few. This research aims to verify the long-term effect of IPE before qualification. 【Methods】 Of the 185 participants in an IPE workshop, conducted 14 times from 1997 to 2011, questionnaires were surveyed in 79 people with contact information and qualitatively analyzed the description of the free entry section. 【Results】 24 people (13%), from 11 universities, 5 departments, 8 to 12 (average 12.6) years since graduation, answered. The factors in the necessity of interprofessional collaboration (1) workplace issues, (2) workplace cooperation, (3) role of profession of respondents. And in the difficulty of collaboration (1) work, (2) individuals, (3) workplace, were acknowledged. Many responded answered “IPE was useful”and its contents ranged from level 1 to 2b with IPE-Kirkpatrick, but 1/6 answered sometime it became restriction. Most respondents replied IPE is needed both in school and workplace. Opinions were divided about the timing of IPE. 【Discussion and Conclusion】 It is suggested that the students receive the impact of IPE in for a long time, while they are working as professionals, but IPE alone does not necessarily bring sufficient power to learners.

【Aim】There has been considerable research on conflicts of IPW among medical staff members. However, in Japan, there have been few reports that identify factors associated with conflicts occurring in real medical practice according to statistically processing clinical factors such as differences of training process among medical staffs or that of values and so on. In this paper, we review Japanese reports on conflicts in IPW processing data. 【Methods and Results】We searched for studies about conflicts of IPW using key words such as “interprofessional,” “association,” “collaboration,” and “conflicts” on the Japan Medical Abstracts Society and CiNii websites, and found six reports dating from April 1983 to December 2016. 【Discussion】These 6 studies showed many differences in both their subjects and their methods. The previous theories of IPW conflicts that are cited, appear in theories of sociology or business administration, however, there are many differences between medical practice and business. In Japan, further investigation is needed into factors associated with conflicts of IPW due to the processing of qualitative or quantitative data from real medical practices.
