【Purpose】This study aims to evaluate the effect of under- and post- graduate inter-professional education (IPE)s to inter-professional work (IPW) during nursing.
【Methods】 We provided a self-administered questionnaire to 2625 nurses on their background and experience of IPE and “Recognition” and “Practice” for “Competency of IPW (38 items).”
【Results】 Responses of 1791 nurses (68.3%) were analyzed. “Recognition” was significantly higher than “Practice.” Under- and post- graduate IPEs were effective for “Values/Ethics,” however, postgraduate IPE was also effective for “Role/Responsibility,” “Communication,” and “Teamwork” of “Practice.” Under- plus post- graduate educations were more effective for “practice.”
【Discussion & Conclusion】 We conclude that continuous under- and post- graduate IPEs were required to effective IPW on nurses.
The purpose of this study is to create a social inclusion-type life management program(SLMP)for elderly people with chronic heart disease. For the first stage, I had the opportunity to visit elderly people living at home or in elderly care facilities in Germany.
Through observation visits to a nursing university and elderly care facilities, information was able to be gathered regarding the medical treatment and nursing care of elderly people living at home in Germany.
