«Background» Through a group music therapy, we always caught the variation of the changes of children’s behavior by music therapy, and have examined the significance of the music therapy as a medical treatment.«Subjects» We were targeted at a junior high school students from the schoolchild with the developmental disabilities (mental retardation, autism , AD/HD, cerebral palsy, etc.) under our consultation. MT was carried out once every month and made 1 time of a session into seven to eight persons' group by the maximum for 1 hour. Five music therapists, one clinical psychologist, and one pediatric neurologist participated. The participant increased every year in 2007 with 21 patients, 2008 28 patients, 2009 29patients, 2010 30 patients, and 2011 33 patients.«Results» It was possible to have performed the secure and effectively habilitation, aiming at the reinforcement of a growth corresponding to each patient’s clinical state who have various intellectual impairment and motor disabilities.«Conclusion» It was considered that the significance of a music therapy will be raised to verify medical evidence in the field of the habilitation and treatment of patients with developmental disorders.
