Since the central nervous system plays an important role in maintaining muscle activity, the association between brain pathology and muscle function has attracted attention. It will become more and more important for neurosurgeons who are familiar with brain to deepen their understanding of locomotor disorders from the viewpoint of rehabilitation medicine and participate in dementia prevention and treatment.
