A study has been made of the derivation of the mathematical expressions for calculating thermotechnologically the principal quantities on fuel fired lime shaft kiln as a function of decarbonation temperature of limestone and the following results were obtained.
Equations were derived for almost all the important quantities required for the theoretical consideration of the kiln. With the aid of the equations principal dimensions, operating conditions, thermal efficiencies and others of the kiln may by calculated quantitatively as a function of the decarbonation temperature of limestone.
