In this technical report, the connection process of different diameter cables for diffusing ECSO design is proposed and verified. Currently, ECSO design considering economy and environment by increasing the conductor size from the current size is being accepted. Firstly, the economical merit by introducing ECSO design is described. Next, the connection process of different diameter cables for realizing ECSO design is proposed and verified. In this verification, it is confirmed that this connection method meets various standards such as JCS standards and Interior Wiring Code. Finally, this connection method is compared with a method of relaying by using terminal blocks in terms of cost and application. And, proposals are made on the separation of these connection method.
