In order to use unutilized regenerative power effectively, we installed an energy storage system in Yasu sectioning post in March, 2018. We analyzed the data about the ESS performance from March to August 2018, and it was found that the regulative charging energy was influenced by the season, while the total charge and discharge energy was not strongly. In this study, we report the data about the ESS performance and the issue on operating the ESS effectively.

鉄道の使命は快適で分かりやすく、気軽にいつでも使える存在になることである。そして、地域の誇りと思えるブランドになることである。そのためにはネットワーク全体のブランディングが効果的であるが、特に鉄道車両デザインは大きな役割を担う。鉄道車両デザインの役割をエリアブランディングにフォーカスして、その歴史を俯瞰し、実例を見ながら、ブランディングのパターンを類型化した。そこからブランディングやトータルデザインが、これからの車両デザインには不可欠であることが見えてきた。そして、その実現には鉄道会社によるブランドを維持管理するための仕組みが望まれる。

When train operations are disrupted due to accidents or incidents, passengers require relevant information in order to decide which train they should take. Research is being carried out on passenger decision making and their behavior when they obtain information regarding individual train situations containing prognostic, such as estimated arrival time or level of congestion on each train, in order to examine the efficacy of information provision for supporting decisions. This paper describes the results of an evaluation test aimed at grasping their train-choice behavior, in cases where train information was provided during travel delays.

本研究では、乗換抵抗をより正確に定量化するために、属性別の乗換時間、乗降扉を考慮した上で、属性別の乗換抵抗及びその要因を定量化することができる乗換抵抗指標を提案し、都市公共交通ターミナルとして京都駅を対象として乗換一般化費用の計測を行い、乗換抵抗の要因分析を行った。そして、得られた結果より乗換抵抗低減施策として、ベンチ等の設置による待ち時間抵抗の低減、移動支援設備設置による高齢者の心理的負担の低減、移動支援設備分散化による迂回距離の低減、の3つの提案を行った。さらに、天神川駅を対象として乗換抵抗低減施策として、新駅設置、下りエスカレータ設置による便益を算出し、低減効果を定量化した
