Shigemitsu Matsumuro became Kyoto-shi part-time engineer in August 1897, and surveyed ancient shrines' and temples' architecture from September to December, and submitted the report to the governor of Kyoto-fu. I introduce contents of the report using "Kyoto-fu Koshaji Kenchiku Chosa Hokoku (Kyoto ancient shrines' and temples' architecture survey report)". This is a copy of Matsumuro's report. His report is quite influenced by the report of Tadashi Sekino surveyed in Nara that made in same year. They succeeded in short term by referring to "Shrines' and Temples' architecture build in before 400 years survey report". This survey started from 1882.
