This paper is described a method of calculation of water consumption in the designing of building equipments about multi-storey flats and office buildings. Part 1 of this paper is described a theory of calculation of water consumption in simultaneous uses and per unit time in various water uses of these buildings. The probabilities of simultaneous uses of water can be obtained from the analyses of queueing theory. And in multi-storey flats, basic data which are used in the calculation are analysed about used frequencies, used times and used flow rate of water out of faucets.
