An experimental formula to estimate the solid content of combined aggregates with the fine and coarse aggregate specified in JASS 5 is proposed by means of the Grading Parameters on the FM scale that one of authors has reported in the previous paper and the solid content of the fine and coarse aggregate as the components, provided that the solid content of combined and component aggregate is measured in the same mode of packing; i. e., container and packing efforts such as jigging, rodding or shoveling procedures. This formula is able to calculate the solid content of combined aggregate of sand or crushed sand and gravel or crushed stone respectively, and will be used for rationalizing the design method of concrete mixes applying to C. T. Kennedy's Workability Factor.
