Utilization of vacant houses is one of the major issues in rural areas, but it has not progressed because it is difficult to expect an appealing effect based on economic rationality. In this report, analyzing of the difference in awareness between current owners and former owners of vacant houses for the market distribution in rural areas, we concluded two necessities: (1) providing consultation desk services by experts, and (2) informing those owners of how utilization of their vacant houses had impacts on the development of the area based on the hometown love of them.
