The authors purified the Fugu poison and the following results were obtained:
1. In the purified poison the amount of total nitrogen agrees with that of amino-nitrogen.
2. When the poison is heated at the alkaline reaction, ammonia is generated, and its nitrogen corresponds to 30% of the total nitrogen.
3. Some tests on the poison were described.
