In this study, we conducted a literature survey and a hearing survey in order to capture the transition of community development making full use of dyeing industry in Kanda River and its current trend. As a result, in the dyeing industry in Tokyo, workshops were dispersed and moved according to changes in river environment and land use. In particular, the workshop in the Kanda river basin has a location characteristic dependent on river use. In recent years, diversified business development was carried out through dyeing industry and river mediation by collaborating with various organizations and organizations.
