Between the GC patterns of tea aroma recovered by the simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) technique and the trapping technique on porapack Q column, many different points were recognized.
From the model experiments by using authentic volatile compounds, the trapping technique on porapack Q column showed better recovery of volatiles than the SDE technique.
