Abstract

1) Dihydropaulownin (VI) C₂₀H₂₀O₇, mp 125°, dihydropaulownin acetate (VII) C₂₂H₂₂O₈, mp 105-106°, dihydrosesamin (II) C₂₀H₂₀O₆, mp 98-99° and dihydrosesamin acetate (III) C₂₂H₂₂O₇, mp 91-93° were prepared. 2) The NMR spectra of II, III, VI and VII were studied. 3) The Mass spectra of VIII and XI were studied. 4) The structure of isopaulownin was revised as X.
