Abstract

The ¹H- and ¹³C-NMR spectra of harman (2) and N-methylharman (3) have been reinvestigated, and definitive assignments of all the protons and carbons of 2 in CDCl₃, DMSO-d₆, and CD₃OD were obtained by the use of DEPT, HC-COSY (or HMQC), COLOC (or HMBC), and CNOEDIF techniques.
