TFT及びLCD駆動技術から見たカラーLCDの動向

抄録

Recent progress of color LCDs is reviewed from the viewpoint of TFT driving and LCD addressing. To develop low voltage driving schemes and driver LSIs has realized current color TFT LCDs for notebook PC applications. Propesed novel addressing schemes will be available to realize STN LCDs with fast response in near future. To open new applications for TFT LCDs, it will be neccessary to advance novel LCDs.
