High frequency ripple (spike noise) and time delay via the switching action (switching delay) can appear in the switching circuits operated in a high frequency switching range. This paper experimentally shows the dynamical characteristics of the chaotic attractor in an interrupted circuit, and demonstrates the validity of our previous theoretical results. First, we introduce the circuit model and its dynamics. Next, we show the composite Poincaré map of the chaotic attractor in a circuit with ideal switching and a circuit with spike noise. Finally, we confirm that the experimental results of the composite Poincaré map have the same dynamical structure compared with that of the theoretical results.
