In recent years, the success rate of IT projects in the enterprise is said to be about 30% to 40%. In particular, IT project tends to change dynamically during the project period. In such change of project, project manager must try to maintain a high motivation of the project members for the project. However, the project manager has identified vaguely motivation of project members by using his experience and intuition. Therefore, it is difficult for the project manager to grasp the motivation of members clearly. In such a situation, it is important to create a mechanism for project managers to understand the motivation of members. In this paper, we propose a mechanism for project managers to understand the motivation of members. In the proposed method, the motivation of project members is first classified into two categories. Next, we measured the motivation in a manner suited to the characteristics of each classification category. Then, we propose a method of visualization of the motivation of members.
