2-dimentional materials are now intensively studied with the aim of the application to advanced CMOS logic transistors for 1 nm node and beyond. Here, the reason why the 2-dimntional materials are expected and the present status of the research of 2-dimntional materials transistors are reviewed. Challenges and prospect of this technology are also discussed.
