We have developed a new remote measurement method of the molecular weight of gases using whistles. The method involves injecting the target gas into two whistles and calculating its molecular weight and flow rate based on the resulting whistle sounds. Our proposed method has successfully achieved a molecular weight resolution of 0.45 under known temperature conditions.
