Generally, for the student of department of science and engineering, the mathematics subject such as the differential and integral calculus is performed by a face-to-face class in the first year education. However, a clear difference has come to be seen in the basic scholastic ability of student who entered the university by the entrance examination of various forms. Therefore the class method that might be able to make up this scholastic ability has been necessary. In this study, a trial for improving the low level scholastic ability of the student was performed by utilizing e-learning teaching materials. The authors report about the effective teaching method and the practice result in detail.
