Numerous studies have reported on biochemical responses of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force
personnel to aviation stresses (e.g., ＋Gz, hypobaric hypoxia, vibrations, noise, temperature, long
flight, flight task, etc.). The present paper provides an overview of the Aeromedical Laboratory
research concerning biochemical responses to various aviation stresses.
