We compute the ac effective resistance and inductance of rectangular lines and discuss its behavior at high frequency region. Derived set of integral equations for the current density is numerically solved by applying the method of moments. In order to improve the convergence, the conductor cross sections are divided into nonuniform mesh by taking account of skin effect. In numerical computations, we compare our solution with previous results by the conformal mapping method and Dirichlet condition. We further construct rather accurate approximate formula which predicts the impedance value.
